As I walked through the bustling streets of New York, my eyes wandered in search of inspiration. And then, I saw her. A young child, standing alone on the sidewalk, staring at a light post with a look of intense fascination on her face.
I watched her for a few minutes, observing as her emotions shifted from wonder to confusion, and then back to wonder again. It was a beautiful moment that encapsulated the essence of emotional singularity – the idea that every individual experiences emotions in their own unique way.
This encounter with the young child resonated deeply with me as an artist, and reminded me of why I create art. My aim has always been to capture and convey the complexity of emotions in a way that resonates with the viewer on a personal level.

Just like the young child, we all go through a range of emotions every day, and it’s a beautiful thing to be able to capture those fleeting moments and turn them into something that can be experienced and appreciated by others.
In my work, I strive to create an emotional journey for the viewer – one that reflects the complexity of the human experience. Each stroke of the brush, each layer of paint, is an expression of the myriad emotions that we all feel.
So, as I watched the young child staring at the light post, I was reminded of the power of emotions and their ability to evoke feelings of wonder, confusion, and everything in between. And I knew that I would continue to create art that reflects the beauty of the emotional singularity that we all possess.
